Inter Faith Meeting - 16th November 2009

The Judith Trust and the Board of Deputies of British Jews held a Round Table as part of Inter Faith week.

The meeting brought together representatives from all major faiths and belief systems for a discussion about how faiths include women and men, boys and girls with learning disabilities.

The meeting was opened by the President of the Board of Deputies, Vivian Wineman and chaired by Dr. Annette Lawson of the Judith Trust.

The very talented film maker Ilana Trachtman spoke to the meeting about her experiences of inclusion work in the US through the film Praying with Lior and used clips from the film to illustrate this.

Seminar - Forced Marriages of People with a Learning Disability

The Judith Trust and National Alliance of Women's Organisations (NAWO) held a very successful seminar on Wednesday July 23rd 2008.
