The Trust is concerned both with those formally diagnosed with a mental illness in addition to their learning problems and to ensure emotional/social needs are attended to whenever there is a learning disability.

The Trust supports multi-disciplinary, preventative and innovative approaches. It pays particular attention to the needs of women and Jewish people

 

The Judith Trust:

Commissions and carries out research and supports innovative projects

Forms strategic alliances with government departments, voluntary organisations and academic institutions

Brings together groups of professionals and others, including service users, for specific purposes

Campaigns on behalf of and with people with learning disabilities and mental illness needs

Promotes examples of good practice and the sharing of knowledge in its publications, seminars and conferences

Does not accept unsolicited applications for funding, but is pleased to hear from organisations who wish the Trust to be aware of their work

Does not fund individuals
