The Judith Trust presented its report, Mental Health Services for Adults with Learning Disabilities and hosted a roundtable discussion at the National Council for Voluntary Organisations, to consider the implications for policy makers, commissioners and care providers.

In particular, they reflected on the lack of knowledge and skills of those staff dealing with both learning disability and mental ill-health simultaneously, and addressed how training for staff and care providers needs to be changed, in terms of policy and implementation, to ensure the delivery of good quality services.
