Policy

Through the outcomes and evaluations of the projects the Trust funds, the Trust is able to work towards closing the gaps for those with a learning disability and mental ill-health in policy, legislation and implementation.

Government

The Judith Trust uses its unique position to work with Government to address learning disability and mental ill-health simultaneously. The Trust particularly pays attention to the role gender plays with those who face both these issues.

Lobbying

The Judith Trust together with partner organisations seek to change policy or its delivery where necessary, in relation to learning disability and mental ill-health, and its impact on individuals and their families and carers.

Consultations

Responding to various government led, or other relevant consultations that relate to those with learning disabilities and/or mental ill-health is an important part of the Judith’s Trust work. We aim for our responses to lead to better outcomes for those involved.
