Harrow Limmud has become the first one-day Limmud to commit to inclusion for people with learning disabilities. Harrow Limmud will be working closely with the Judith Trust Inclusion Campaign to ensure that children and adults with learning disabilities are able to fully participate and to lead sessions, promoting the spirit of Limmud: ‘everyone can learn and everyone can teach’.
This builds on the success of Limmud L’Am, which saw 15 people with learning disabilities attend Limmud Conference in December 2011. It further promotes the involvement of people with learning disabilities in mainstream Jewish life, the central aim of the Judith Trust Inclusion Campaign.
