In celebration of Jewish Disability Awareness Month we are hosting a special event with JW3 a screening of ‘Including Samuel’
This award-winnng documentary, made by Jewish photojounralist Dan Habib, ‘chronicles the Habib family’s efforts to include Samuel in every facet of their lives. The film honestly portrays his family’s hopes and struggles as well as the experiences of four other individuals with disabilities and their families. Including Samuel is a highly personal, passionately photographed film that captures the cultural and systemic barriers to inclusion’. There will be a Q and A and panel discussion after the film.
The event is at JW3 on February 17th, 6.30-8.30 pm. Tickets are £6, or £3 for concessions, and carers go free. JW3 is at 341-351 Finchley Road, NW3 6ET
